Pre-cancers and skin cancers - Early Diagnosis

Pre-cancers and skin cancers are usually easy to cure if they are diagnosed early. If you have a persistent rough scaly spot on your sun-exposed skin it might be a pre-cancer or skin cancer. If you have a bleeding or itching mole, a growth that ulcerates, a mole that itches or tingles, or a pimple that just will not heal, these fall into the category of a non-healing sore. They should be examined by a dermatologist. Don't be afraid of the unknown - get checked out early and you may require a minor treatment rather than a major one.
