Treatment of Pre-Cancer and Skin Cancer 

We now get excellent cure rates on pre-cancers and skin cancers. If you have a pre-cancer we usually will cure it in one visit with liquid nitrogen. A temporary blister will occur which resolves in 2-3 weeks. If you have many pre-cancers, we may use a special cream called 5FU (Efudex or Fluroplex, or Carac) which you will apply for 14-28 days all over your face. Your skin will be temporarily red and inflamed, but it will heal the pre-cancers and it may also leave your skin looking 5 years younger.  Most skin cancers are readily cured on an outpatient basis with minor surgery!  The doctors and staff will discuss the most modern methods that will cure your skin cancer, and keep your skin looking as youthful & vigorous as possible.
